Having been convicted of our sin and born into the kingdom of God through our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and having given witness to our faith through immersion, we hereby covenant with one another:

 

To give willingly, generously, and regularly of our time, talents and money to support and advance the work of the Kingdom of God through this church and our denomination at home and abroad;

 

To attend faithfully the worship services and to participate regularly in the Christian training opportunities provided by this church;

 

To strengthen our spiritual lives through daily family devotions and individual Bible study;

 

To avoid activities, beverages, foods or narcotics that would impair our bodies, minds, and influence or would in any way weaken our witness for Christ;

 

To faithfully care for one another in times of sickness and distress;

 

To uphold each other in prayer;

 

To cultivate kindness, patience, and forgiveness;

 

To witness to the unsaved of the redeeming love of God through Jesus Christ;

 

We promise that when we move from this place we will, as soon as possible, unite with some other church, where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God’s Word.
